Mr. Sarwar Raza

Mr. Sarwar Raza is the founder and Managing Partner of Legislegal, is a law graduate from the University of Delhi and a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, Supreme Court Bar Association, a founding member of NCLT/NCLAT Bar Association, Delhi and Delhi High Court Bar Association. He is also a fellow member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has post qualification experience of over 18 years in the fields of Corporate laws, Taxation laws, Civil, Criminal, Customs, FCRA, FEMA, Labor Laws etc. He is also involved into various matters of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC). He is also a visiting faculty at IIM Kashipur. He is legal advisor to various national and MNCs, NGOs, Ministry of Finance and World Bank.

Mr. Kashif Raza

Mr. Kashif Raza is a Corporate Lawyer and Managing Partner at Bizcon Services LLP and partner at Legislegal (Advocates and Corporate Consultants) situated at NFC, Maharani bagh. He is a member atAll India Bar Associations, Delhi High Court Bar Association, a Fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

He has extensively worked on the Companies Act, NGO’s, matters related to Recovery, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, FEMA (FDI), Custom Excise and Service Tax (now GST), labor laws, Arbitration and Reconciliation Act, SEZs et Cetra. He is known for his draft skill and has handled many cases of recovery suits including various insolvency matters. He is specialized in handling recovery matter by all modes including but not limited to serving legal notice with following legal options including Recovery by serving legal notice, Recovery by invoking Arbitration provision, Recovery by filing Suits under Civil procedure court, 1908, Recovery under Order 37 Rule 1 & 2 of CPC summary trial and Recovery by invoking Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) provisions.

He has also helped various multinational, Government and domestic Companies to set up their companies in India and continues to be their legal advisor till date. Some of them being Shandong Chunlong Group India Pvt Ltd(Chinese subsidiary), Voereir India Pvt Ltd(Sweden subsidiary), Mohammad Alkhelaifi Business and Consultant Pvt Ltd(Saudi Arabia subsidiary), Ravens Ark Pvt Ltd(US subsidiary), Barak Mediherbs (Afghanistan based promotor), Pe wallet ltd etc.

Mr. Sarvendra Singh

Mr. Sarvendra Singh has had an illustrious career spanning over 25 years at the Bar practising before the Supreme Court of India and various other High Courts of the country. He has appeared in various matters arising out of Companies Act and Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

Mr. Shobhan Mahanti

Mr. Shobhan Mahanti is a Senior Associate of Legislegal. He is a law graduate from the University of Delhi and a fellow member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has rich experience of managing legal and financial matters of Indian offices and investments of foreign funds. He has more than 15 years of experience in working with foreign private equity funds and large multinational companies in India. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a law graduate from the University of Delhi. He is a member of Delhi High Court Bar Association. He has a thorough working knowledge of matters arising out of the IBC and Companies Act.

Swati Singhal (FCS, M.COM (BPCG))

Swati has been a hand holding support specifically in Not for Profit Organisation (NGO) sector for their day to day operations with better management of the sector clients of Legislegal along with having expertise in Foreign (Contribution) Regulation Act, 2010 (FCRA) / EPFO / ESIC/ POSH. We can see her expertise views in other relevant labour laws, Shop and Establishment License, Society/ Trust/ Section 8 company compliances, FEMA, RBI and Secretarial Compliances are another niche under The Companies Act, 2013, Human Resource Management, Income Tax Act and Internal Audits in her 9.5 years of working experience post becoming member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India in the year 2011 and she is also qualified as M.Com in Business Policy and Corporate Governance (BPCG).

CA Priya Sinha

CA Priya Sinha is a member of Legislegal Team. She is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has been actively handling projects related to taxation, accounting, MCA compliances, Bank audits, statutory and internal audits. At Legislegal, she has taken care of finance, HR, Accounting and taxation needs of Protograph Studio Pvt Ltd and Medfin India Pvt Ltd. She holds her expertise in accounting and taxation and makes sure that no client goes unsatisfied. She holds utmost integrity and honesty in her work to make your experience hassle free. She is a graduate in commerce from Gargi College and holds a post graduation in Finance and tax from Delhi University.

Mohd. Waseem Akram

Mohd. Waseem Akram graduated with a degree in law from Rohailkhand University, Bareilly Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council. He has intricate knowledge of the working of the courts and NCLT/NCLAT and excels at handling and negotiating matters of intricacy. He appears in all the lower courts in delhi and takes charge of the cases independently. He is an efficient resource to the organization with a holistic knowledge of his work.

Ms. Ishita Sharma

Ms. Ishita Sharma is a Law Graduate from National Law University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and is a member of Bar Council of Delhi. She has worked as an associate in AKS Partners, Delhi and has clear understanding and exposure of Court procedures and client dealing. She has represented various clients in NCLT, NCLAT, High Court and Supreme Court of India on a regular basis. She has a hands-on skill for agreement vetting and drafting. She has assisted Arbitral Tribunal, has also actively participated in arbitration proceedings and matters arising out of IBC and is well versed with its procedures and its nuances. Her areas of advisory include subjects like IBC, FEMA, Banking, Corporate Laws and Taxation. She is also a renowned author and has contributed much to academics in Law. Along with that, she possesses a Diploma in Entrepreneurship Management and Corporate Laws from Gandhinagar National Law University. At legislegal, she takes care of all the matters related to Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code along with Income Tax, Customs Law and general civil proceedings and appears before required courts and tribunals to represent the respective matters.

Mr. Arnab Chakraborty

Mr. Arnab Chakraborty is a Law Graduate from Damodaran Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He has been a part of Thomson Reuters in the past where his responsibilities included catering to transactional issues of the clients both in India and abroad.Further, as an Associate at Legislegal Advocates and Corporate consultants he has dealt with an array of work including corporate, commercial, civil and labour issues for a plethora of clients. He has played a key role in providing legal backing to numerous projects for NGOs like The Hans Foundation and Keystone Human Services. Further, he has represented civil and commercial disputes at different forums including District Courts, NCLTs and High Court of Delhi. Apart from this he has also done a diploma in IPR and commercial Law: Law and Management from GNLU and published various research articles in reputed publications. Mr. Saghiruddin Ahmad

Mr. Saghiruddin Ahmad is a Law Graduate from CKM Law College, Bihar. He is an essential part of Legislegal team and well versed in legal proceedings related to court craft and documentation. He has intricate knowledge of the working of the court and excels at National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) and NCLT/NCLAT.

Mr. Tabish Raza

Mr. Tabish Raza is a Law Graduate from CCSU Meerut. Besides Law, he has a Bachelors in Physiotherapy and a Masters in Social Work in Public Health. He has been working as a legal associate with Legislegal and has very good exposure and skill in drafting and vetting of agreements and MOUs for a different set of clients from the corporate as well as social fields. His areas of advisory are Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Companies Act, Custom Laws, Income Tax, FCRA, RERA, etc. and have appeared before courts and tribunals to represent the respective matters for our clients. He has a thorough working knowledge of matters arising out of the IBC and Companies Act.
